Hello dear members and contributors. My friend got his lexus is200t to my garage regarding car heat up issue and unusual loud fan noise while accelerating from rest. The following things that I have done
* got the radiator cleaned by professionals
* changed the fans
* changed the thermostat located beside the mechanical water pump
After doing it, little improvement have been noticed but not completely eliminated. It still has loud fan noise and sometimes the temperature fluctuates. I have consulted with parts shop and they mentioned regarding the second thermostat which is located within the engine. We looked everywhere but couldn't locate it. I think if we are able to replace the second thermostat it will solve the matter. I would appreciate for suggestions..

From your description it sounds like the car doesn't want to warm up.
