Default 2021 TLX Type S... when will the IS step it up?

So I'd like to move to a sedan from my RC but in doing so I'd really love so more power. The IS doesnt fit that bill and a GS-F doesnt have AWD, is too big for my taste, and frankly cost of ownership is more than I'd like for a DD. With Audi having an S4, Infiniti having the Q50S, and now the new TLX Type-S with most likely 350 hp I feel like Lexus needs to give the IS F-Sport some more hp to compete with these cars but I havent seen any indications they're going that route. Has there been any talk I havent heard of for boosting the performance of the IS in future redesigns?

If Lexus is serious about competing in the segment, I think we should definitely expect greater performance from the upcoming redesigned IS. Unfortunately, most articles state that the current engine offerings will carry over to the redesign (plus the V8). Personally, I would just wait for the reveal later this year. This is coming from a current owner of an '07 TL Type-S by the way.

I imagine Lexus will offer an IS with 350 HP or a little more. The real question is WHEN.
