It's your car, do whatever makes you happy.

Some will like it, some won't - opinions other than your own won't pay your bills.

In my opinion sure, it's different, would I do it? No. But I do not think it looks bad, it's just not personal taste.

I don't think it looks bad, I think a minor drop would compliment it

oh totally. I knew it was out there and not everyone’s cup of tea. And it doesn’t quite bother me if someone else doesn’t like it. But thought it’d be cool to see what others think. It’s not going to change my feelings about it.

I agree. But I bought the car a few months ago as a winter beater. It replaced my another winter car so I don’t think the drop makes much sense. Although for sure would look great with one.

Like others have said, it's ur car,ur money and ur taste. Anybody else's opinion is irrelevant.
What is the interior color?
I wish it was Red! Haha. It’s Black.

doesn't look good.. those rims look like they belong on a 1990 civic. these car have an elegance / reputation.. by putting those rims on it, especially in that color, completely takes it away. you can get better rims look wise and color (silver / gunmetal / black) that would compliment the car much more nicely.. the stock rims look way better than those.. sorry man, just going to keep it honest with you

All good. It’s certainly not for everyone. I understand that.

i actually don't think it looks terrible as others have said, but looks are very subjective and neutral colors are chosen for a reason when car marques are building models -- they're more likely to be liked by everyone. that said, i wouldn't choose the wheels for myself, but i wouldn't be like, damn, that guy has no taste at all. also, if you don't plan on dropping the car because you'll be using it in the winter, then yeah, it doesn't look so great as those wheels really the drop in order to be pulled off. dropping it very mildly on like rsr down springs which might help immensely. consider also changing the center caps to lexus center caps because those aren't works or vossens or anything so no one needs to see the brand of that particular wheel.

Totally agree that a drop would make it look inifinite times better. But I simply can't risk reduced ride quality in general, or particularly in winter at any cost. Plus it's a lease that if I end up keeping for longer than 6 months, I would be impressed. Considering I have through over 18 cars in just about 10 years doesn't bode too well.

I do enjoy it though so here's hoping.

I think it looks bad, juvenile. A lot are pulling punches here, giving soft responses. Your typical "well it's not my taste but to each his own!" The man wants honesty. Not greeting card slogans

Honestly if you are above the age of 25, this is not good for you or your social life. The way people perceive you especially in and around your professional life. Luckily an improved life for you is only a paint job away so get those wheels powder coated something like dark silver or gunmetal.

This is the equivalent to wearing a bright red backwards baseball cap, bright red jersey, and bright red shoes every day. While sitting at a cafe drinking tea.

Out of place, know what I mean

finally. A non snow flake sugar coated response.

I think this looks hideous. Looks like something you would find in the “hood”.

also someone said sasnuke has red wheels. No he does not.

As stated before, needs a drop and the wheels actually look small. 18's? But I did similar style, its a frikkin set of wheels, they can be powder coated tomorrow if I want. I knew people wouldn't like it, I like people to know its me when I pass them and this accomplishes it. Don't want to blend with the rest of the world.

Oh, and my interior is red too.

^But by not wanting to blend in with the rest of the world, you just did. You joined the army of kids with red wheels on their whipz. =p

Not as common as black/graphite wheels though.

Yea I know it's not for everyone. I don't really care about the snowflake responses or the 'real' ones. They don't deter me or make me want to change it. I am so sick and tired of the usual matte or satin black, or silver lipped wheels. People say this looks childish and perhaps. But the ricer tuner in my from my teenager days loves it lol. I don't like to blend in and be like everyone else. Some people are content being that way and there's nothing wrong with that. Just not for me. I almost picked up a used purple set of rims before these Haha...but thought that was too girly. lol

Yes they are 18's. Do look small for some reason than stock but like the matte red not reflecting as much light back. Drop would be real nice. But like I said not even sure how long I will keep the car for so not much point in dropping more $ into it. Even the wheels was an impulsive decision (the fact to get aftermarket wheels, not the colour). haha. And Slimer, your car looks great. The drop perfectly compliments those wheels and make it look way better than mine.
