Default Battery Change

Hi All - are there any codes that need to be input into the radio/navi when changing the battery? Would I need to get these codes at the dealer or can I swap this out at home?

Nope. Just swap it out and you’re good.

Engine will probably quickly stop after your first start with the new battery, but it's normal if you didn't hook up a battery charger to the OBD2 port prior to removing the battery.
Once you restart the car again, it will start up as normal without codes.

You’ll find a lot of batteries are manufactured by the same core company or companies with different labels on them. Interstate, ACDelco, and Optima are good ones. The Lexus OEM batteries are solid too tbh. I haven’t really done much research on who makes whose batteries.
