Artificial leather cracked at armrest
My armrest had separated at the seam where it meets the vertical material before I bought the car. As part of the deal the dealer agreed to have it fixed at “their” rate which was $150. I don’t know how much of that was a line, but it leads me to believe an upholstery shop might charge $150-300 for a similar repair.

How coincidental that I posted this question just yesterday in the "Automotive Care & Detailing" forum. Maybe I should have posted it here instead
How well does the red interior age? - ClubLexus - Lexus Forum Discussion
Is this problem unique to red or is it just particularly ugly when it happens on red?
I hate interiors that don't hold up well. We spend more time looking at the inside of our cars than the outside. I am one of those who cares more about interior cleanliness and looks than about the exterior.

I don't think this would be exclusive to red.
Just my two cents: the IS interior is really well made. Both my 2016 and my 2021 have been silent in terms of rattles and other noises. So outside of potential upholstery issues (keyword: potential) I'd say that the IS has a nice inferior over time.
