I've seen some outdated threads on this but looking to get some with good fitment. Not trying to pay anything over $100 though. Has anyone bought them recently? Thanks.

 

I bought these and like them. The fitment is pretty good, though you have to be careful with where you put the 3M tape or you'll be able to see some of the original cover as well.

Check out CF vinyl wrap or black vinyl wrap. the covers are thick and super obvious in person. especially when you can see the stock cover behind it..

 

Damn are you serious? I feel like some of these wraps don't have proper depth on their carbon fiber. I feel like rock chips would also ruin the wrap on the mirrors but I'll look into that. Not only that, some of these installers charge stupid prices for it. Thank you.

 

My tint guy had a new gloss carbon fiber wrap that looks incredible. It looked real.

 

Hes serious. I would 2nd what he said too. <$20 materials can do yourself.

I've seen some gloss CF wrap that looks good but I use the matte finish myself. I did my interior with DiNoc 3m matte CF. Plenty if depth even has texture to it.

did my roof spoiler in vivid wrap and its held up better than my buddies CF side mirror caps and spoiler.

The wrap will keep the original shape and contour. It would most certainly have to be done in two pieces so if you DIY, take this into consideration. A pro should know what to do though.

+2 Here, I’ve seen some wraps look as good as real CF when sitting side by side. One was on a Maserati and the other was an WRX wrapped. I couldn’t really tell tbh and I’m pay attention to things like that. The do look good now.

 

Guy wants $175 to wrap the mirror caps....

 

tell them, or call another place and tell them you cant pay over a $100.

Or give It a go yourself. For $25 you'll have enough material for multiple attempts if needed.

 

Just an update, I bought the mirror caps from eBay (california area) - $100. They weren't made the same and were not covering my whole mirror. The gap wasn't that bad if you use thin 3M.. but going to get it wrapped.
