Headlight question
My passenger headlight is getting pretty ugly and dirty because of condensation would always get inside the headlight. So im looking to buy a used headlight on ebay and most of the listing are saying some the tabs are either broken or cracked. Would I still be able to install the headlight with no issues? I'm scared of purchasing one and I wouldn't be able to install the headlight because it doesn't sit right.

Here is a new one for the lowest price, after market of course.

I recently looked due to another post that came up. There are those too which are "refurbished" although that's net exactly the right word. The broken tabs seemed so common on the used ones, but they did have some which were repaired. If you buy used I would find one from a reputable seller who sells lots of other used lamps, and has one that's been repaired.

There was a TSB for the early IS's for this exact issue...broken tab allowing condensation into the light.
If you think the light is still salvageable on the inside, then dry it out, find the broken tab and silicone the crack so it's sealed...that should stop future condensation.
To dry it out you can remove the turn signal bulb and let it air dry or help the process along with a hair dryer/heat gun.

Hi,
I noticed that the DRL's turns off when the dimmed lights are turned on.
I think these should be only dimmed then. But on my car they turn off completely. It is on with fill brightness when the switch is turned to the 0 position.
Can you recommend any solution?
Thanks
