I am surprised that the integrated square
tailpipes are gone in favor of a more Beemer
look. What’s up with that? I like the back window
deign. Still comes to a point, but is softened.
FSport front end/grill looks cheaper to me....
looks more “Toyota” IMHO.

Well, looks like my 2017 will be current style for
a while.

Panoramic moon roof i think would have added a lot and I don't think that would have been difficult to change.

Looks like they went back to the 2014-2016 exhaust...even if it is technically different the appearance looks the same...or very similar.

Did you guys notice the ASC switch even though this is the IS350? That's a little odd. Also, I think they're going to bring back an ISF since the reveal said they built a whole track for it. I can't image they built a track just for an IS350. Guessing it will be the twin turbo v6 as well.

The sound of the engine says it's likely the TT V6. Doesn't sound like a V8.

I'm curious to see what the pricing is for that. Here in Canada, the 350 is 52k. If they give us a TT V6 that is around 400hp or better it'll probably be 60k.

To me the rear of the car just doesn't match the rest of the car I don't know what it is but it just doesn't flow like the current one. The interior isn't bad not a fan of the mix of round and square vents. I don't like how the screen sticks up and not a fan of the gloss finish. At this point I will hold onto my 2019 IS350 unless they announce an ISF then I may hit that upgrade button.

I’m probably a minority of one here, in that the only thing I like is the rear (I’m a fan of trunk spanning tail lights, loved the long bar across the trunk of my ‘91 Cadillac STS).
As mentioned above, that front end is too ‘Toyota-ish’. And I don’t like the sides, the slope/swope line doesn’t connect anything, it’s like the car got rear-ended and pushed everything up and forward.
And that ‘kids toy’ sticking up from the dash? Wow, that took a lot of thought and design work. Makes it look like my wife’s cheap Mazda.
Sorry Lexus, good thing that styling will have a short lifespan.

What does everyone think of the new IS? I particular like the exterior lights and the new circular vents. Also seen they have a trackpad instead of a mousepad now.

Front end is too Toyotaish? The front end looks almost exactly what it's looked like the last 6yrs. Lol

Still no surround view camera just CarPlay added? Lexus is lagging way behind even Kia has all the bells and whistles.

I know it hasn’t been officially revealed yet but I was expecting more changes to the interior. Even getting rid of those large cup holders with a cover to hide them would have made it look differently while allowing the passenger to lay their arm on something flat not edge of hole.

I was expecting to be blown away inside with all the tech that other manufacturers are already offering. Iwill wait for premier tonight but I don’t see anything that will increase sales to sedans by this refresh.

Yeah, I wish they would have placed the cupholders further forward like the RX setup. They did move them further up compared to the current iteration but still not enough imo.

Here are my comments, and of course, everyone will have their opinions on things....

1. Like the front and side view, even from the 3/4 quarter rear view
2. Like the wheel design
3. Don't like the overall rear design - Don't like the full light across, don't like the big black rear diffuser and don't like the tiny deck spoiler although I don't mind the exhaust tips
4. Like the overall interior design EXCEPT WAY TOO MUCH RED!!! WTF is that?!
5. I don't mind the raised tablet, it doesn't seem as "stuck on" like some other models (like the Corolla) but I much prefer the interior of my RC

I will need to see one in the flesh before making a final opinion on it except for the red part inside, no way I would get a red after seeing those pics! I will stick with my RC for a while, at least until next spring, and decide then. I am not sold on the Acura Type-S yet although Acura products look better in person too. I was really hoping to be wowed but so far, I feel I would "settle" or "put up" with the IS but I am not calling my dealer begging them to take my money.

Maybe holding my RC until the end of the lease will put me closer to the FMC of the IS....My lease expires in June 2023....

On Lexususa Instagram page, they just posted pictures of the 3 generations of IS series. And in the description they put “The next evolution of the pure sport sedal debuts tonight” why do I now feel like this is a new generation... I mean why would they say “the next evolution” and show one picture of each generation, and the 3IS is already shown, if it’s still going to be considered a 3IS.
