My 2015 IS350 AWD is a series III and came with heated steering wheel, heated wipers/lower windshield and heated/ventilated seats. Its defintely needed up north since next week its supposed to dip to -40

It's funny...on a lot of car forums, you will hear guys mock a heated steering wheel...everyone except those that have had one. All kidding aside, if forced with the choice, I might actually take a heated steering wheel over a seat.

Lol, yeah I can see that happening.

heated wheel is pretty dope. I use it everyday. When I get in my car it’s usually 5-7c(41-44f). So not even that cold. But it’s still awesome and as soon as auto shuts off I notice and turn it back on. I have a series 3 350 in Canada.

Was the combination in the OP's post more limited in the 250's? I have a 2016 300 F-Sport AWD, with BSM, ventilated seats and a heated steering wheel. I didn't think that was uncommon, but based on this thread, I'm thinking it's more rare than I thought?

‘16 might not be so rare. My search was (self) limited to ‘14-‘15, which as discussed is pretty rare and non existent on an F.

And while this thread has turned focus on the wheel heat, I’ll say this...it’s pretty dumb and annoying that the wheel heat is only on the sides. I get the logic, 3 & 9, but still. Annoying. First world problems, right?! Heck, even my Focus ST the whole dang wheel was heated.

Took me by surprise as well, as I was primarily wanting heated seats. As most know, at least the early 3IS F Sports have very poor heated warmed seats. The SW is great though, don't even need to wear gloves!

As for my 2014 350 F Sport, I assume it must have been a full-load Series III as it has navigation, Mark Levinson, and AVS. Also has radar cruise/collision alert, BSM/rear cross monitoring, rear window shade, and heated wipers. Does not have parking assist or rain-sensing wipers, so am presuming they were not available in the package that year, at least not in Canada.

hahahha! Exactly. I’ve been associated with four Lexus’s (Lexi??, plural, LOL) over the years in my family and all of them have the weakest heated seats of any other car I’ve ever been in in my entire life.

It is not a serious concern for me as my RC is parked from the end of November until April so I don't get to use the seat/steering wheel warmers

From the US selections Canada then chooses the models and options that will be offered to our market...so we will always have less options/vehicles than the US, and definitely less vehicles/options than Japan.
Trying to find a 3IS RWD is like trying to find a unicorn up here. Your best bet up here is to find a 200T (or 2018+ 300 RWD) if you want a RWD.
For us the "Winter Package" is basically standard across the models...cause it be cold everywhere...brrrrr!
That makes sense, I sometimes think I should have gone to check out the 2014 is350 fsport 3 RWD (advertised as anyways) white on red but had 69K km vs the one I bought being AWD and 40k km. Then there are days I'm driving through a storm and on snow and I'm glad I got the AWD, saved my butt more times than I care to admit especially on highways.

Once they were similarly equipped, then you definitely made the right choice.

^^ I still wish we had the option to buy our 350 as AWD or RWD - I get that if you live in Canada, AWD is normally better but some of us never drive our Lexus in the winter (My 2 previous IS350 and my current RC) and having the option to get a RWD with the 8 speed transmission would be have been on the top of my list.
