I recently got my windshield replaced, it is an aftermarket windshield. However I noticed that my VIN is not exactly aligned with the windshield. Do I need to go back and have them redo it? and has this happened to anyone? He said it was normal but I am not so sure.

I've seen many after market windshields like this the non shaded area in the wrong place.

 

That is up to you. If it were me, I would have them redo it.

Note, your VIN can also be found in your driver's door jamb or under the hood.

I think stock the vin isn't lined up perfectly. like it forces you to look at an angle. this is from what i remember. i'll have to check my CT.. but then my CT has an aftermarket windshield. maybe someone w/ a known stock car can take a photo straight on
