Default Replaced struts 2 times in less than 50K miles

2014 IS350 F Sport with 50K miles and I've replaced the struts twice already (struts leak). Usual potholes on the road, but I drive carefully most of the time. Anyone else have this issue?

Move to an area that doesn't have **** roads. On my 2014 GS with AVS I'm on original struts with 56K.

I'm in Monroeville rn if you want me to make sure you're not driving your vehicle incorrectly. Let me know as my flight leaves for Vegas (thankfully) tomorrow morning.

Which struts have you replaced twice? I'm hoping not all of them twice, cause that's just craziness.

The front 2. Each time only 1 was leaking, but the recommendation is for 2.

OP - I had a 2015 and 2017 IS350 F sport and never had any issues with the struts. You may have just had a streak of bad luck due to the road conditions. Mine is usually nails in my tires...I am not sure why but it annoys me to no end!

I got a bolt in my week old blizzacks once, was still able to patch it though.

While it is a good idea to replace them in pairs, after the first set was replaced I'd be considering how old they are when the next one started leaking.
If the pair wasn't that old and you had another one leak, I would just be replacing the one.
I think maybe one person, other than yourself, has mentioned replacing a strut...so definitely it's not common.
There's maybe one aftermarket replacement as well...which kinda gives you the impression that it's not in high demand at all.
You really must have some crappy roads.
