If you flip that connector around, is there an empty cavity that you can put the Ground wire in?...if you need.
If the Ground wire is not there, then the connector should have an empty cavity. Swapping the one wire over isn't hard if you have some small tools.

That's a good question. Perhaps they incorporated the Ground into another wire that was there, and eliminated your mystery wire.
Aside from white/black stripe Ground wires, Toyota also uses Brown wires as Grounds...which I see one Brown wire in that connector.
