I have a 16IS, I found that there is clicking noise when braking. Also happen if I press the brake hard when the car is standstill . It happens only when the car is in D. I tried to step on the brake in N, there is no click noise. Anyone has similar problem?

 

I had a clicking noise with my is 200t as well but it only happened when I reversed then went into drive and braked for the first time. I listened and heard it was the front pads. I jacked up my car in the garage took the pads out cleaned them and re greased, adjusted the shims and bam gone.

i then found out the pads shift when going from reverse into drive etc which is normal but after the cleaning never heard a pep again

 

I just changed my brakes and rotors and I hear it now lmao.. it's annoying, tried taking apart the rotor and brake from the back left where I suspected it but still heard it.. oh well
