RR Racing and FIGS LCA Bushing Longevity?
For what its worth, I have had the RR Racing USRS ones for about 12k miles. Definitely corrected the inner tire wear. Car feels so much more stable and corning is great- I love the product except for one thing. One thing to note is that these poly bushings cause more stress on the other components of the suspension. I have been having a squeak coming from the under the car when going over bumps or dips since they have been installed December 2018. It's definitely louder during the winter as its freezing cold.
Had the dealer take a look at it they pin pointed it down to the bushings since its made of poly and maybe needs to be lubed- everything else seemed fine, including lower control arm. When i went down to RR (was down in PA for work so it worked out), since they did the install. They looked at it claimed their bushings dont squeak and offered to clean it and re-lube the LCA which they believed was causing the squeak(since they had same issue when they had their AWD model) . Wish they took off the USRS cleaned it , re-lubed it and bolted it back on to pin point that the USRS was not the cause but they didn't want to do that- not sure why. Squeak was still there after on the ride home and is still there today. I recently got coil-overs, new sway bar links installed and also had the shop lube up the LCA again and the squeak is still there. Not sure if other AWD owners face this issue or not. Few guys that I know that had the USRS installed have no issues but they also own ISF, RCF, and GSFs which are RWD. Maybe when I am down in PA again they can actually remove the USRS clean it re-lube it and bolt it back on.

FWIW, i switched to RCF/GSF Bushings in 2020 and they also corrected the inner tire wear and no more squeak. Although, I do miss the feel and drive of the RR Bushings.
I'm going to bring this back from the grave since it was a topic in the IS500 forum, but wrong thread. for those that have upgraded the LCA bushing, has there been any negative affects? after watching numerous YouTube videos, it was mostly install and reviews right after install. I would like to hear from those who've had them on for a while. I'm leaning more towards the Figs set, not only cause it's cheaper, but don't have to deal w/ load adjustments during install. one of the things that came up was NVH. its it truly a concern after installing the bushings? there were some talk of upgrading to RCF/GSF bushings to keep the "luxury" feel...any feedback on that? to me, it looks like installing these have more pros than cons (if there are any cons at all). any feedback would be truly appreciated.

When you experience hard braking, the axial movement of the control arm leads to changes in toe that wear your tires. The RR Racing USRS has a thrust washer design that prevents the axial movement. These preload measures are easy and only requre a feeler gauge. Both companies have Go Pro footage on their bushings. 1 shows no axial movement and the other shows axial movement.

although both companies make very good products, I would like to have a little "smoothness" since I don't plan on taking my bucket to the track. it would be nice to upgrade to something that would provide better response as well as help w/ tire wear and not make too stiff or cause excess noise and/or vibrations.

So I installed the LCA bushings a year ago asking with the year rod.
What are your alignment numbers for the front and rear?
I just want to make sure I'm aligning right according to a previous thread that I got the numbers from. I believe front is +.08 toe in and rear is +.15 toe in with 1 degree of camber.

so it is true that even going to the RCF/GSF bushings, there is little improvement when it comes to tire wear? still considered an upgrade compared to oem IS.

I will definitely look into the street version. After getting the CF intake cover and air/oil separator, i would have no issues making another purchase from you guys again!
I just ordered the USRS (red) version ( https://www.rr-racing.com/Lexus-Lowe...isfxlca001.htm ) and I hope these won't be too hard. Wondering if I should have ordered the softer version.

I'm having an issue with the inner rear tires having uneven wear. Any suggestions? Aomeone told me shocks could cause that.

I have the figs on my 15 is250 rwd (Fsport) and so far no real complaints. They’ve been on there around a year I think but mines not daily driven. At one point I did notice a popping noise which I thought was the bushing but it turned out to be a bolt I didn’t fully tighten when installing them. The A brace bolts I think it was. Anyways I do feel like it lost a tad of the (luxury) feel which I’m completely fine with considering it greatly increased tire life and handles a little better. Haven’t had to remove and regrease them yet. I’d probably recommend getting them with the brackets to save on having to get someone to press them in. The brackets and bushings appeared to me as extremely well quality. 10/10 would recommend these to save the tires alone.
