Tom's strut bar for is200t
Is this the right way to install this strut ? If I put the other way round the strut is blocked by the coolant tank. If I put this way the strut is sticking to the engine cover

It should be mounted the other way. I believe the strut bar was made to fit the IS350 which was why it could not fit perfectly. I removed one bolt from the coolant tank and mounted it this way.

Doesn't matter which way you mount it inasmuch as it's function is strictly cosmetic.
It has zero column stiffness so has no function.
