For those of you that hate amber colored bulbs and reflectors on your car as much as I do, you might appreciate this mod. I couldn't find a set of JDM lenses for a decent price and I didn't want to open up my lenses and risk them not staying sealed after, so I used gloss black vinyl and 3m knifeless tape to black out the side markers. Here's a before and after:
I should mention because of the curves of these lenses, it's not an easy job. It took a few attempts to get it right so buy more vinyl than you think you'll need. Lol. Also, I went with black over smoked tint because I didn't want the amber side marker visible at night with the headlights on. You could of course use dark smoked film and get a similar look without completely blacking it out.
