Default Just Returned a 19 ES350 Loaner

I知 sure this topic has been covered in the past, but I was given a 19 ES350 as a loaner while my IS was worked on. I知 very impressed with the latest crop of Lexus vehicles. The car rides so smoothly, the exterior looks stunning in person, the cabin is so refined, quiet, and I love the new 12.3in screen with Apple Carplay. My only gripe is that the screen isn稚 a touchscreen and still uses the touchpad which can be finicky. Wish I was given the F-sport, but definitely considering the ES as my next lease.

It's just the back end of this car.. very bland looking IMO. The front looks okay, but yesterday I was driving behind one for several miles.. and all I could think about is how much nicer the IS, and the older ES seemed to look. Worried the new IS will also follow along with this design path.

Of course, all of this is very taste driven and subjective LOL.

The rear is my favorite part of the new ES. One of the best Lexus has ever made. Supreme professional advanced design. I'd consider the ES except I already bought a CT200h.

The current IS is on an older design/architecture.

Exactly, as much as I love the IS design, when compared to the new 3 series, c class, and A4, it looks dated. I think the design needs a refresh, maybe not a full redesign.

I am really curious about the F Sport ES 350. The handling was the most obvious downside of the way my loaner 2019 ES 350 drove, Honestly, it handled fine, just a little too much body lean to make it any fun. With AVS, it's probably wayyyy better. Overall, it was a very pleasant car to drive in all respects - ride, power, quietness, and the general interior quality.
