Unfortunately I noticed that my car had been hit and my right side skirt is damaged. I am unfamiliar with replacing the part and was looking into getting an aftermarket side skirt anyways.

This pretty much sealed the deal for me to buy a new one and was wondering if aftermarket side skirts merely attach onto the OEM side skirt or completely replace it.

Will I need to buy an OEM side skirt first and then attach the aftermarket one on, or can i just remove the OEM one completely and replace it with an aftermarket one.

I assume it varies from brand to brand as it looks like some are complete replacements and others are just attachments.

It's a lot more than normal OEM side skirts, but Seibon does have one that replaces the original side skirts

I have AIMGAIN JUN VIP EXE Side Steps available in USA for $900

 

Is the aimgain and seibon the only two full replacement side skirts? All others ive seen look like addons to the original.

 

For the most part. TOM's Racing is also full replacement, but doesn't seem too popular and only really matches the full TOM's kit.

My wife took out one of the side skirts and finding a used OEM in white is impossible.
I am just looking for something like the OEM ones since she doesn't have any kind of kit on her car.

I'd lean towards the Aimgain you mentioned since they come in white. I assume that matches the factory paint?
Any other brands need mentioning as a OEM replacement? I read on another thread someone said Vertex's fit fairly well but have seen much on them.
