Default Caliper cover vs. Caliper paint

First time poster here! Just got myself a 2016 is350 f sport and couldn't be happier. It's by far the nicest car ever driven, let alone owned! That being said, I'm not one to be content with a totally stock vehicle, and one of the first things on the list is adding a splash of colour to those wheel wells. I'm not well versed on the caliper cover vs. caliper painting dilemma though, and am looking for some community input on the subject.

Welcome to the forum fellow Canuck! Congrats on the new ride.

I would definitely stay away from the covers and go with paint.
If you're particularly mechanically inclined, then powdercoating would be the next level above paint...calipers would need to be removed, dissembled, powdercoated, reassembled, re-installed, and bled.
But many have painted the calipers with great results...it's all in the prep.

I looked into covers before and they did not look good at all judging by pics and videos. Paint is the way to go.
Wrapped ???
Welcome and congrats on your purchase
