It is supposed to be a pop-out and pop-in. My sales person replaced mine with a different cars' herself when I requested a change due to the original being scratched up.

 

Hi there, I've just bought a 2015 F-Sport and had the same issue, it looks like the previous owner scratched it with ring. The cap of the dial is fastend with 4 clips so can be lifted off which I've sent off in the post as the Lexus dealership has kindly offered to replace it with another on the forecourt.

Apparently it is not possible to replace this part, only the entire switch assembly which is costly:


Maybe worth finding a breaker who can source this for you?

Not cheap, but cheaper than replacing the entire assembly. I believe this goes on with 3M VHB Tape.

 

I'm thinking about getting that. I seen another member had it in his build thread.

 

Had the same issue and purchased this set a year or so back from eBay. I’ve had zero issues. IMO they are a quality product and a definite improvement over the scratched and tarnished appearance.


Have yet to bother with smaller ***** and visually the large ring seemed like an afterthought imo.
