Looking for first is300h
Hello,
i am looking for My first IS and it need to be 300h. But i am not sure what to look at, what year model would be best. I have looked 2013-2016 is there any significant consideration when choosing year models? Is it better to choose new model If it is couple of thousand expensive?
What equipment level is the best? If i choose f-sport does it make that car more sportier? Is it wort it? I am also concerned about that CVT transmission, havent really driven before. Is there any way to notice CVT going bad? Does anyone have experience CVT being used on Winter Time about -30 celsius? Does it work on those temperatures?
Thanks all for help.

All cars ever made (in modern history) are engineered to work anywhere in the world. Hybrids aren't too efficient in cold weather though. The batteries don't like it.
Aside from that, all Toyota/Lexus hybrids are virtually unlimited in reliability. No such thing as problems with Toyota hybrids.
F Sport of course makes the car handle better.
Aside from that, this is mostly a north american-based forum so it's not likely you will find much help on the 3IS hybrid as we don't get those here. which is sad cause i'd really consider an IS hybrid. best of both worlds... i'm sure the GS 450h powertrain would swap over though... i wonder where the battery sits on the 3IS hybrid?

Ok didn't know that you do not get that is hybrid in there. I was confused when i did see spesific gs450h thread but not is300h
My main reason for choosing Lexus is that everyone has either Audi, BMW of VW. Those cars are boring in my opinion.
Does every is newer model 2013 have e-cvt? That should Be More reliable than normal?
