Default Lexus is 2014 multimedia problem

Hello everyone
i have lexus is300h 2014
the problem is that the multimedia starts with the lexus logo and stuck with it
the dealer sayed that i have to change the whole multimedia system and it costs 2500$
anyone can help me

Have you tried disconnecting the battery to have the system reset?

I disconnected the radio fuse for 20 min
same problem

I would try the battery so all the electronics get reset before you pay for a brand new system

It's not exactly the same...there are other fuses in the system than just the radio fuse.
Disconnecting the battery isn't risky unless you're not comfortable disconnecting the battery.
And we are talking about the 12V battery, not the hybrid battery.

Worst case if you disconnect the 12V battery, the system will be the exact same way.
Best case is it starts to work again.

if you want a video to make you feel safer to disconnect the battery, I found you one:


Just disconnect it and leave it for a while, then reconnect it. Might as well try it first instead of replacing it for 2500. You really got nothing to lose to try it.
