Default Dashboard space

Hey, new to the forums but have browsed since getting a 2016 IS350 F-Sport in 2016...anyway, I got a custom push start button I installed the other day, I had to pull apart the top dash piece to gain access...I put everything back but for some reason I cannot get the right side snapped back in all of the way no matter how many times I re-do it...there is no rattling and its perfectly stable...does anyone else’s have this space and I never noticed it or is it time to bring it to the dealer to see what they can do? Thanks!

Something is definitely not right there. It's sticking out about a quarter inch. There must be a clip or something that is not catching.

Or did a clip fall off and there's nothing to catch on.

I appreciate it bro, but now looking at the pictures you sent I'm afraid of doing the installation myself haha. Good luck!

ya no doubt...hahaa i actually fixed it this morning, the videos showing instruction didn’t say, but its easier if you unclip the bottom portion near the steering wheel it gives it way more give and room...once i unsnapped that i got all of the clips on the top piece in much easier then the bottom snapped right back in
