Yeah, I posted the wrong link. I like the Conti, but the Bridgestone is great as well.

Still, if you'll even notice $700 coming out of your bank account, I feel like you're driving the wrong car. Just my opinion.

ONLY REASON why I didn't change the back pair for my rwd when i had my two brain farts is that I have my 60K service around the corner DEEEEEEP breath $1200 worth of service.

It's not the money, it's just that I don't think the OEM Turanzas are worth it...I was just thinking why pay like $250 for 1 and you'll have to soon replace the other 3 anyways?

No, I'm on your page, definitely don't replace one of those trash Turanza's with a new one. I was just saying if they are close anyway, just buy new tires.

On this car I expect to pay $900 (includes alignment) for tires every 15,000 miles. I may get away with more or less mileage, but really, it doesn't matter. The lack of other expensive service on the car makes it more than worth it. I also don't drive that much, maybe 8000 miles a year, so no big deal.

Yup, exactly what I'm thinking of doing now, $850 installed isn't too bad, still struggling between the Potenzas and the PS AS3+ though. The reason why I replaced just 1 Turanza half a year back was the other 3 were fine on their treadwear, didn't know they wear that fast. (Any idea why they are so expensive with the performance they have?)

You might put the word out, someone might have one they'd give you for shipping. You can't be the only guy stuck in this situation, it happens.

My car is at about 12k miles now and I don't drive aggressive (cruising on highway most of the time and getting stuck in NY traffic), and the inside is already worn because of the camber we have(maybe 3/32" left)....I bet the Potenzas or the PS AS3+ will last longer than the OEM Turanzas lol

Just remember, if you really want to get the best out of your tires, meaning performance and longevity, you really need to have an alignment every time you replace tires. You might have a place that offers lifetime alignments for a cost as well, if you plan to keep the car.

You got me as to why the Turanza is so expensive, complete trash IMO. I'm sure Lexus buys them for $5 a tire, but I would't pay much more than that for them myself.

Heck no on the OEM Turanzas. I'll either have PS AS3+ or those Potenzas put on. Tirerack.com has free shipping to my dealership and it's like 80 bucks for them to install all 4
