Default 2016 is200t F Sport Boost Problem?

Hey everyone,

I'm brand new to the forum and this is my first post but I wish it was for a good reason

I just bought this beautiful is200t f sport a little while ago for my wife but I think there is a problem with the boost? I had the local lexus dealer do a pre purchase inspection and they said everything was perfectly fine and the warranty is still intact etc, no tune or anything like that. However i've been driving it recently for fun and it seems really damn slow after first gear like no one is home. I have attached a video that ends kinda short...but i think it shows that 2nd is really weak? Maybe its just me but the youtube videos im seeing of is200t's do 0-60 seem a lot quicker and they are completely stock. There are two aftermarket parts on the car:

N1-X Evolution Extreme Muffler 2016 Lexus IS200t RWD 2.0L I4 Turbocharged (Titanium Tip) Rear Section Only

AEM 21-791C Cold Air Intake

video in attachments

Thanks for all the help guys!!! I'll be on in a couple hours to see if anyone has any clue or maybe thats just normal....

The video link doesn’t work. Is it just an issue on 2nd gear? The only known issues on these cars are the vacuum regulator which causes boost hesitation.

Edit- Had to use a desktop to see the video. Looks normal.

I watched the video. It looks like the boost being shown in the gauge cluster is higher in first gear than it is in the second gear.

per the vid posted, seems normal/usual to me. as to the comment above^, the boost won't be the same in every gear. particularly first gear. Also--the car will adapt and change as it sees fit per conditions, load, need, temp etc. Same w/ just about every turbo car. So you can have different behavior any day of the week.

Unless your boost needle is jumping up and down rapidly (symptom of the common regulator issue), your car is functioning normally. i did not see any jumping in your video.

You are just driving a slow car (i own the same car)

3,600 lbs of steel being pushed around by a 4 banger coupled w/ lacklustre transmission tuning. don't expect anything too crazy.
