4-6 beeping noise

Default 4-6 beeping noise
Hi, sometimes I get a beeping noise after starting up my car. It is like 4-6 beeps then it goes away. I don't see anything on the dashboard for anything wrong.

Not seat belt. I put on seat belt before I start car.

Could it be the “Roads may be icey” warning. If the temperate goes below 3 Celsius your car will display an ice warning on the dash and will beep a few times. It’s a feature i wish could be disabled actually. I don’t need to be reminded that it’s cold outside every time I get into it.

I think it is the roads are icy, how can I disable it? I went through the settings and don't see it.

I don't think it can be disabled (at least I haven't found it). It just happens based on temperature. I've noticed on other new cars that I've rented to. I guess if we were able to disable the audible notification, we wouldn't pay attention to the visual.

It is not the roads are icy notice. I am thinking of calling Lexus and get this checked out

That's probably your safest bet If you can't take it in soon, can you post a video of the sound and showing the instrument panel?

I made a video, but I can't upload the file. It is in MP4 format and the website is not allowing me to upload video file.

My BMW from 2002 used to do this. Rarely gets that cold here in SoCal but one time it got in the low 20s and the car beeped very loudly and scared the daylights out of me. but yeah it does it too indicating the roads may be icy.

I have Dropbox. How do I share the video through Dropbox? I thought I fixed the problem because I updated my maintenance schedule, but that was not it.

strange it sounds like one of your parking sensors, but I don't see any icon on the dash. I think you're going to have to bring it in.

I was thinking something parking related too - maybe too close to the house in front of you? Not sure if you hear it at other locations. Probably best to take it in.
