Hi so my 2014 Lexus is250 is not under warranty anymore and my radio/navigation stopped working and apparently the dealer said I need the whole radio unit replaced.... do you guys have any recommendations on what i should do? Any cheaper ways? How much did you pay if this happened to you? I’m nervous... i attached a pic of the radio unit i apparently need but it’s ridiculously expensive... any info would be appreciated

That happened to my 2016 IS I just disconnected the battery for 20 mins, and it went away. I would try that and see if it helps at all.

I tried disconnecting it for like 10 and sadly all it says now is “reading map disk in progress.” And then it switches to: “a program cannot be read. Please consult a dealer”
