Clari-Fi , Mark Levinson , IS350 / IS300

Hello all, I am in the market for a used 3rd Generation IS350, F-Sport.

I just became aware of Mark Levinson's 'Clari-Fi' technology. Does anyone know what model year Lexus started using its No.585 Mark Levinson Amplifier with Clari-Fi technology in the IS350/300?

What is the difference between Mark levinson and mark levinson clari fi technology?

Clari-Fi decompresses compressed files. Just a better quality sound, in general. The difference is noticeable.

ahh, i see and this was added on 2015 models and onward?

Mark Levinson/Harman's Clari-Fi technology recognizes compression of any music (MP3, FM Radio, etc.), amplifier analyzes music and plays it back out through the speakers at a bit rate close to 90% of the original full fidelity sound.

Unreal right? Sounds too good to be true. Can anyone attest to how good the sound actually is?
