OEM Wheel/Tire
Dealer tried to tell me it's $1300+ just for OEM wheel+tire replacement on a 2018 IS350 F-Sport AWD. Seems utterly insane and I don't believe it. If it's true, what a poor choice for an upgrade by Lexus. Can anyone confirm this?
I jus did a quick eBay search, and if it’s for a complete set (4 wheels and tires) then it seems to be right in the range you were quoted. Multiple sellers had sets for sale for as much as $1500 as well... assuming again these are for the fsport wheels. Might want to wait for someone else to chime in other than me tho.

Thats what I said! Full disclosure, the dealer was trying to sell me wheel/tire insurance. I think the salesperson was straight up lying to me. They did have a laminated piece of paper though. What a shark!
I don’t believe for a second that Lexus would put $5k into wheels and tires on a sticker price of $48k. Maybe if they were 20” super light rims or something, not 18” Lexus OEM.
Thats why I was hoping to get a second opinion from this forum.

I got quoted just about 3200 for four 17" Lexus rims and winter tires. Figure thats about $2600 for the wheels, so 650 a piece. Are the 18"s really twice as expensive.
And, no I didn't go with the dealer for the winters..

Not sure. So the quote was appx $1300 for a wheel/tire combo... so $1300x4, presumably, or $5200. IF that's the case, the first thing i'll be doing when a rim needs replacement is selling them all. Quite frankly, if someone can confirm this is their cost, I'd prefer to just sell them all right now while they are new, put on literally any new set I want and pocket the difference.

that is around what my dealer is charging as well. unless you have a lot of dispensible income i don't see anyone buying at that price or anywhere near it. also, good luck selling at that price as well.
The rims would be about $500 a piece ($2000 for a set) and then whatever the tire is will be whatever it cost.
$1300 for one rim and tire, mounted and balanced, with a TPMS sensor is a tad on the expensive side...and you didn't even mention if you getting a sensor too.

I totally agree. Insane. Though, could always be a diehard Lexus originalist who blows out his rims and doesn't want to pay dealer prices but wants to stay OEM.
I was at the dealer yesterday for some maintenance and have some unrepairable damage on my front driver wheel (2016 IS200T non F-Sport upgraded mesh wheels). The dealer told me it would be around $900-$1000 to replace just ONE wheel. No new tire. I found a replacement online for $300 brand new. Definitely look around more
I asked my dealership (Toronto) a few months back how much the F-Sport rims are to replace. He told me 400$ per rim, so 1600 + taxes for all 4. Tires are probably 200$ + so to replace all 4 rims/tires would run 2,400-3,000$

Hmmm... so ignoring exchange rate (which would actually make yours even cheaper in USD), your dealer is quoting $400/wheel and the other guy's dealer is quoting $1000. What gives then?
In the dry, they're okay. Definitely comfortable and tread life is good. In the wet, say some prayers.... Im looking at Falken Azenis FK510's for my next tires. PM me if you want more feedback.
