Default Triple Beam Headlights IS*** Models

Looks like the 2019 IS finally have the triple beam headlights available as a $1,160 option for N.America. Just configured one on the Lexus site.

Interesting. I hope they were modified to give better than acceptable results for the 2019 MY. What other changes? Assume that's it?

Looks like a new color? Liquid platinum? looks like silver lining

It's either Atomic Silver or Silver Lining most likely. Without seeing the whole car, hard to say. (update: it's in fact Liquid Platinum.)

That is awesome that they finally got those approved for the US. I always thought they would elevate the IS's look so much.

It says they are trying to improve throttle response and turbo response in the press kit. Whether that makes a noticeable difference remains to be seen, obviously.

Yeah that’s for their 2019 model what I’m saying is I’m highly skeptical we will ever see that update come out for us that have the 2.0 already aka 16-17 200t and 18’ 300 RWD. They are improving the 2019 models for less turbo lag and better throttle response and knowing Lexus they won’t put out an update for previous years.

Oh. Yeah I doubt they'd do something like that. Over-the-air ECU updates are certainly not a thing. It would be possible to get your ECU reflashed I guess?
