Default Arm Rest Cracking: 2015 350 FSport

Car is almost 4 years old with Roja red interior. I have a crack about an inch long in the drivers door arm rest. Anyone else experiencing this?

Car is out of warranty so Lexus will not do anything about it.

Considered normal wear and tear according to Lexus and they wont do anything about it. I don't have this issue but I've read about it on the forums happening especially on the seats. Try to discuss it with corporate, see if they will help, dealership won't get you anywhere.

if you're constantly leaning you're entire weight over the armrest with your elbow, that might cause it

Agree but I don’t use that area of the arm rest that cracked. I think this is attributed to a material defect on this panel. I know of one other person having the same issue. This is disappointing but a minor issue as the car has been great reliability wise but not without issues. I had a minor paint chipping issue (factory defect) which I will address on my own or live with and a major AC fault which Lexus addressed out of warranty as a good will.

The car has held up well otherwise and looks and drives as good as new. Love driving it every day.

Thanks. I will try but won’t hold my breath based on the experience
of others with similar issues.
