Anyone use Sumitomo tires?
Looking to get some new tires and came across Sumitomo htr w rated tire for a decent price. I'm tired of blowing through the stock Bridgestone tires although they ride quietly.
Any suggestions? Not looking to spend 300 per tire

On my old Corolla, I had the Sumitomo HTR PO2 All Season tires and were like $70/tire if I recall. Doesn't ride that quiet and treadlife was OK, but at that price point, it's tolerable and I can't complain. Also if you didn't know - Sumitomo, while they don't really advertise or market heavily, makes tires for several other tire brands.

I have the HTR Z3 on my Nissan Skyline (2003 Infiniti G35). Got them off tire rack for about 400 bucks for the stock 17 inch rims. 5000 miles and great so far. i drive on a lot of windy mountain roads and they grip very well. Can't speak to how they will wear and I won't have this car long enough to update but i can tell you they are tons better than the stock bridgestones on my 14 IS at 5k miles in.

I have them on my GS and a few other cars that I and my ex have owned. Pretty good tires. Not a lot of road noise, great tread life, good traction. Definitely better than the stock tires.

i have the HTR A/S P02 W rated on my wife's IS for 16K miles so far and have tons of life left. She doesn't drive crazy, so i have no idea about handling/grip, but they're great for regular use and look like they'll last a very long time. I would have to check life with my tread depth indicator, but i know at 15K miles i didn't even see a big enough tread depth reading from front to rear tires to warranty a rotation so they haven't even been rotated yet (square wheel setup).
