Default Maintenance required soon

2014 IS350 - alert says maintenance required soon. How do I find out what maintenance is required, and when? Roughly 24000 miles on the car.

The service manual. It is based on the mileage intervals.

I also think it begins flashing based on when it was last performed. Meaning done at 19k would trigger a 24k alert.

Yeah because if I’m not mistaken, you can reset it yourself.

Yup it comes up based on milage intervals / last time it was reset. As for what service is indicated for each light/mileage, I believe you can set specific maintenance plans per warning...I saw this when messing around with settings. Plan to set some custom things myself, almost positive that's how it works it certainly looked like it. Maybe I'll check it out tomorrow.

If you haven't yet, you can quickly clear this light in the settings within the little screen on the speedometer cluster.

As for what the lexus suggested service is every 5k miles the Lexus site below breaks down the suggested service per vehicle mileage if you're into that kind of thing.

at 24k, all you'll need is still your basic oil changes, filter replacements. i'm personally shooting for oil changes every 8,000 or so miles.

50-60k is where you should start replacing all the other fluids in the car, belts, etc. of course you should always at least inspect things like brakes, belts, coolant, brake fluid, etc. periodically.

7,500 miles to me is the earliest I’d change full synthetic, if you’re going to change it earlier every time might as well go synthetic blend or something that’s just my opinion. The rest of the stuff just inspect like E46CT said and also look at the service manual.
