Default A pothole ripped my sidewall...help

I have a 2018 IS300 AWD F-SPORT

ran into a pothole today which cracked my front right tire sidewall... did some research but still can’t figure out what to do, please help

-wondering if it would need to be replaced...(drove about 10miles home, not leaking for now)

if so, would it be okay to only replace that tire without causing issues on the AWD system?

-Checked multiple articles online...

some said it’s okay as long as the other tires are not worn out (less than 3/32” of difference with new tire) (new turanza el400-02 have 9/32” tread depth and mine had 8/32” when I did my 5k mi service...now about 6700mi on it, more than 7.75/32” maybe?)

while some said replacing all 4 is recommended to avoid drivetrain damages

here is a picture of the crack...

Edit: Since some of you replied that I can replace just that one, last question...doesn’t matter if I do it at the dealership or outside right? My local dealership charges 300 with installation while I can get one on amazon for 177 and take it to a local tire shop for installation

Replace one and call it a day.
Depending how hard the impact was, you might want to check the alignment...but it's up to you.

Had this happen to me once. Just replace the one. Also, if you go to places like Firestone, even if you buy only one tire, you get free rotations on all your tires in the future for that car.

Dang that’s rough, if I lived in a place with roads that could do that to my tires, I would definitely get the tire road hazard protection for my tires haha.

Any damage to your wheel like some curb rash?

never...until today....the rim was scratched

the pothole wasn't that big, that's why i wasn't paying attention to it,until I hit it(almost 1' deep)

luckily the rim didn't get bent and leak

our OEM wheels/rims are tough! Heavy no doubt, but strong. I hit a curb really hard, no damage to the tire but the rim took a beating. Yet, it doesnt leak and it didn't bend.

yea...it’s been doing fine before (sewer, shallower potholes)

i guess the sidewall wall rubbed and got ripped from the side of the pothole this time

maybe next time consider going up a size in sidewall height (on all 4 tires) to give you a little more protection.

This is a great way to make your speedometer and odometer inaccurate.

Speedo would only be slightly off, not enough for you to notice and odo will read less. Not a bad idea.

Back to the topic, exact same thing happened to on my front tire as well. The tire tech advised that it should be ok as long as there is no sign of the metal treat or bubble.
