Regrets but it's too late.
Continuing the story.... I came from a e90 328i as well and got a base IS350. To be honest, I don't regret it at all. The engine is good and reliable, no exorbitant maintenance or repairs required (touch wood). Has good power, good transmission and drives well. Except for the front tires lasting 10-15K miles, I am hopeful that this car will last a long time. I know people rave about Fsport package. Even without that, you aren't missing a whole lot. Just some wheels and cosmetics.

You can also install RSR down springs or better coilover suspension and your sportier than FS or non FS.
To the op, spoiler and splitter are a great idea. Your IS will look better than 99% of the ones you see on the road.
Make it your own. A few other mods for little money are caliper paint/decals, interior vinyl wrap, recolor emblems, and fog upgrades.
