How the brakes look with tastefully selected wheels in bronze and black, both authentic wheels. So hard to decide which one but te37 is what I will use. Fully forged and andonized. It changes shades of bronze under light. I will be buying a set of 245 35 front and 265 35 rear, need more reviews to pour in on tire rack. I’m choosing either Michelin Pilot sport 4 s or Bridgestone’s
yes it is worth ! because i can see the big different between my old V6 Toyota Solara vs my bigger brake on IS350 F-sport Braking system. in my opinion i would spend all money on SAFETY MOD like Brake Handling and suspension and then Power mod like Supercharge Turbo or Chip tuned
Front the pic of the rear it appears you left the stock rubber brake lines on.
Did the kit come with SS lines?
I would have thought to really get the full potential out of the BBK that SS lines would have been part of the kit, as they are more rigid, provide a better brake response, and do not deform when braking like rubber hoses.
Additionally, if the master cylinder is still the stock one, can it really support all those calipers to really get the maximum performance out of the BBK?
Just my opinion, but if the brakes are going to be upgraded at the wheels, then there's no point going beyond the capability of the master and booster. They can't provide any more force or fluid just because the calipers are bigger.
And in fact, now that there is more volume to fill in the calipers, the same amount of force isn't being achieved when you hit the pedal.
The sheer size and mass of the brakes will provide better braking over the OEM, especially if you put these on an IS250, but they will never reach their real potential.
It's the same as putting a turbo on a car, then running 3 pounds of boost...did the car go faster? Yes...was it worth it? Obviously No.
However, the aesthetics of the BBK are undeniable, and for the right price (not brand new) it would be worth it.
I feel like for the IS a 6 piston front and 4 piston rear BBK is overkill. I think keeping the 4 piston front and changing the rear to 2 piston would be a better idea IMHO.

I never asked myself those questions, never cared. Engineer from Trd said it will work with so many pistons some “bias” stuff and as lines not included in bbk. I been driving with gh we on for 3 years, I sharing it now

The fact that it bolts to the vehicle and stops it when you press the brake pedal technically constitutes it working.
The brake bias is controlled by the Master Cylinder...how big the orifices are, how much fluid is directed towards the rear brakes and when, etc. etc. etc.
I realize the Engineers endorsement of the product goes a long way...I guess for me, if I'm going to do a BBK, I'm gotta do it right all the way...on top of what you have, I would be putting a new Master, Booster, Backing Plates, and SS lines.
And at that point, the value of the package would grossly out way the benefit...basically, it would not be worth it to stop a stock vehicle. Now, if I had the RR Racing Supercharger kit, that would be an entirely different scenario.

it is and isn’t, all I know it stop crazy like a mf. I enjoy my ride, it’s comfy and tastfully modified. discussion is old talk, I had all these upgrades since the 3is body style was released.
Semi gloss black rays gram light 57dr In BBK fitment specs. The blue really pops out and the rotors look good.sold em and got bronze TE37 in a BBK fit, both look amazing
i’m debating between these brakes and the brembos from the RCF since i can fit them on if i wanted to, i was wondering which ones you would suggest? if i got the f sports i would have to paint them orange all over again which i don’t feel like doing, while the F brakes are already orange
