Default Dash Panel Removal Question

Hello.

How do I go about removing the panel which is under the steering column so I can get to the set of six switches and blanks near the left knee area? Do I remove the 2 screws at the bottom of that panel and then slowly pop out the top of the same panel?

Thanks

For the panel nears the pedal that's correct. Only two screws hold up.
