How do you know when key fob battery is low

I got a warning notification on the dash saying battery is low

I am getting a beep/alarm periodically was wondering if this could be it.

Try replacing the battery, takes no more then 5mins. It uses a CR2032 3v battery.

How far away from the car can you be when pressing any button and the car responds?
Range is published as '80. As the battery depletes the range gets shorter. If and when
the fob battery gets so low it will not trigger the door unlock you pull out the mechanical
key to get in and then hold the near dead fob directly on the Start/Stop button to start.
Now drive to a Walgreens/Walmart/Dealer and buy the $3 battery.
