Default Replace Turn Signal stalks

Any of us had done replacing the Turn Signal stalks before? I want to use the fog light switch on this stalks (from the non-fsport model). I am appreciated if you can give me an instruction of where to start. Do I need to take off the steering wheel? I am so afraid that working with the steering wheel since it might cause to deploy the airbag.

Thanks

If you have the battery disconnected the airbag won’t deploy. However, from the looks of that, you’re going to need to pull the wheel and clockspring which isn’t an easy task. I could be wrong on how it attaches though. Also if you somehow manage to pull the clockspring without breaking it (you won’t) and remove the bag you will have an SRS light on the dash until it’s reset.

i swap out my steering wheel a few weeks back using this DIY
only comment have is when you remove the center bolt holding the wheel (DO NOT TAKE IT OFF ALL THE WAY WHEN YOU TRY PULLING THE WHEEL OFF) because i did and when i pulled the wheel off i almost ripped the ribbon attached to some of the wiring and that would have been $$$
besides that its easy just follow instructions and have someone there to help if possible

Thanks bro. It doesn't look so complicated besides the part that we are taking off the PINS to hold the airbag.

Not sure what is coming next after taking the steering wheel off, LOL.
