Default Disappointing

Yesterday I decided to go to the bank and I wasn’t even in there for like 5 mins and came out to my car with this on it. The worst part is that the lady decided to leave and not even leave a note now it seems like I might be fixing out of my pocket sadly. The bank claims they have no cameras for the parking lot and just for the drive tru and there wasn’t even cameras else where. When I came out my car before I noticed it was a bmw m5 unless they switched the badge and it had New York plates so idk if I’m going to replace the whole bumper or just that part any ideas would be helpful thanks.

You will likely need the bumper skin. The silver lining is the grille is not damaged, that cost more than the bumper skin IIRC.

for the time being I was thinking about pouring maybe some boiling water on it and pushing it out I can survive with some scratches and paint chipping for a little but with a huge dent I can’t. Insurance told me to go to a body shop and getting a estimate to fix it

Have you tried asking the shopping center security team if they have cameras? Maybe they can catch an angle somewhere.

it happened in the parking lot of the bank there’s really no other cameras around and the guy said she turned a left into like a neighborhood instead of the the busy street. Also the guy said she wasn’t like a customer from the bank she was paying for someone else but couldn’t get it done idk I’m going to ask for the cop one of these days to see if he got into the camera footage

And I still get pissed when I come out and some idiot parked right next to me.

It will likely still have some creasing but will look better.

This is also a great option. I was on the receiving end of a HARD hit from a shopping cart on my driver door. It caused 4 dents total (2 of which were deeply creased to the point of stretching the metal). The PDR guy got all of the dents out, but, since the metal was stretched it's not back to original. It sucks, but it's better than it was. I'm not about to put the money into a new door skin, or door, or insurance hit.
