Default check engine light P0607 2015 IS350

The CEL came on and took it to Autozone and it was code P0607. Only thing I remember was pulling onto the freeway and did a fairly quick acceleration. That was Sunday. Took it to dealership this morning but the CEL was gone after I started the car. Service adviser still said I need to replace ECM. Anybody had this experience before or know what's going on?

While the code is for Control Module Performance, there are 3 possibilities of what could have caused it:
1. Exhaust leak
2. O2 sensor (including circuit) malfunction
3. Faulty ECM

I wouldn't jump to the ECM right away.
Definitely worth checking the first two things.

Yeah I would go with Sasnuke's recommendation. I always go with the cheapest possible fix before jumping to the most expensive option worst case scenario you replaced cheaper stuff and now you don't have to worry about it for a while.
