Fuel Cleaners?

Anyone tried using fuel cleaners? I saw a ChrisFix video where he used one of the cheap bottles you pour into your gas tank to help clean carbon off the engine. He did a before/after of a look inside the engine at the pistons, and it actually worked decently.

Anyone tried these? Wondering if I should dump one into my IS
