Carbon build up in 2014 IS250 ?
Hi all
I’m considering purchasing the 2014 IS250 f sport model. Is the carbon build up issue resolved in the 3rd gen ?? I know it’s a carry over motor, so was wondering if the new IS250 still has the issue? Also are there any other issues to look out for with this car?
the one I’m looking at is a 2014 with 56k miles

2. Navigation rebooting common issue (updates available that seem to cure some owners issues - TSB for it)
3. Navigation screen delamination (TSB for it)
4. Some have had door lock actuators go
5. Dead battery (Gateway ECU issue depending on the model you have - TSB for it)
6. Creases in the Nulux leather
Those are the ones that come to mind.
