@GISguy Your doing this to fit 15mm Spacers? Why don't you just use the usual bolt-on type with integrated lug bolts?

I'm trying to steer clear of making the setup more complex. The spacers-with-studs route adds a lot of failure points and I'm trying to do it the "right" way when possible. I've had some pretty bad experiences with bad nuts, bad studs, etc on these adapter-style spacers.

 

Stock studs are 45mm

New stud fit just great!

New stud is about 61mm

All set.

Much better.


No rubbing.

So far I haven't gotten it to rub at all with 15mm spacers. This is on RSR Half Down springs. I will do the fronts next week. Should be easier since the back of the studs are uninhibited according to several Youtube videos. As such, I'll be putting 20mm spacers in.

 

Studs are indeed uninhibited on the fronts. Did not need to trim them. Didn't even have to take off the brakes. 20mm spacers, no rubbing. Again, this is with RSR Half Downs.
