Talking Swapping rear IS badges / trunk emblem from RX350

Not sure if anyone has done this yet. I may be the first. But I really like the style of the 2016-2017 Lexus RX350 black / chrome Lexus Emblems. They match the front emblems off the Lexus IS models...
So i purchased this emblem and fabricated the back to make it flush and replaced the boring chrome Lexus emblem on the trunk lid. I also swapped out the IS300 chrome for a black plated emblem.

It changes the rear a bit more. I though it came out great and wanted to share with everyone. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Cool idea to retrofit other factory stuff from other cars, but I think it's a bit bold/raised/large for this body style. Sticks out a bit. For both.

would be cool if there was a black chrome option for the factory IS badges.

Looks good. Are there holes for the rear emblem or just 3m tape?

There are 2 factory holes in the truck that held on the old Lexus emblem. However no tabs could be used from the RX350 lexus emblem. (rear emblem pic below)
They had very large mounting post that had to be removed. I used a dremel tool and cut all the plastic post. then filled in the back till it was smooth and flush.
Finally, i used 3M automotive tape (super strong) to mount the new emblem flush in the same spot as the original chrome emblem...

What percent tint did you use for the rear tails and what brand? I really like it! I think it would look good on my nebula grey '17 F Sport!

Not sure the specific brand as my local tint shop / buddy does my tints. The shade is 20% and it was only applied to the amber (turn signals) & white (reverse) portions of the tail lights.
It did come out great. It looks much better... Thank you
