nope, slip/clamp on. a slight tap with a rubber mallet from the rear will knock them off (or cutting a turn to sharp going out of a steep driveway will work as well..

yeah, it was,, we were visiting a perspective high school for my daughter and their driveway was narrow and a sharp incline, as I went down I cut to avoid scraping the front belly pan and fascia, but as the back end came down the tip clipped the riser on the curb and popped off.
not a big deal, the baffle is $45 at the dealer. better $45 for that than hundred, nay thousands for a borked fascia.
