I was looking at the Michellin PS4S and Hankook R-S4's, wound up getting the R-S4's instead. Buying the Hankooks through TireRack and Michellins through Costco was about the same in price.
Costco is running a sale on Michelin tires atm it was $70 off a set of 4 michelin tires, and like $1 mount balance and disposal of old tires, if you trust them to work on your tires.
I wound up getting the Hankook R-S4's, cannot comment on Hankook R-S4 performance in the wet, but they grip very well. Zero compaints, and they're a definite upgrade from my old tires.
Firehawk Indy 500's are also a good bang for the buck summer performance tire, Sumitomo HTR Z 3 isnt a bad choice either
I had Michelin PSS’s on my G37S (330 HP) and honestly they are the best summer tires I have ever used. If that was the case then I can only imagine the PS4’s. The grip was insane, I switched to the Pilot Sport A/S 3+ and they aren’t as grippy, but still an excellent tire if you want better tread life. I’m on the stock tires on the IS since I just bought it so no experience with that. Oh and the water traction with the PSS’s was pretty hardcore too, not once did I hydroplane.
For Summer Wheels i am running: BRIDGESTONE POTENZA S-04 POLE POSITION
They are excellent on both wet and dry. Highly rated. Pricey but worth the money and handle excellent!!!
