I was looking for one a couple of days and went through the same thing. I was told by mr they don’t make it for the 2014+ however I found out something they don’t... it does. I purchased it for the second gen and after some adjusting I got it to fit. You have to remove the bar from the base and switch it around.

I wonder if it fits over the 8AR engine. In other words, is the 8AR engine higher than the 350 engine.

Secondly, while the Tom's does look nice, I'm not sure how effective it will be since the stock RC-F bar ties into provisions in the firewall. Provisions I've previously posted/wondered (over a year ago) if our IS chassis provides for. The insulation of our IS firewall blocks where those threaded provisions would be. If both cars used the same stamped steel firewall for cost savings, we may be able to use the RC-F bar which would be better than all of these.

I'll have to see if I can dig around for a photo of a bare IS firewall. Maybe for an auction of a front clip or something.

Did you message them today? They might answer emails on the weekend. What was the question you asked them? Let me know what happens.

Would you be able to post some pics of it on your car? Did you have to cut the engine cover too?

Your car looks awesome. Is that a wrap or paint? What did you have to switch around on the bar?

Hey thanks!! It’s a satin black wrap. I had to switch around the bottom bracket of the strut bar.

all your removing is just the dust covers that keep well dust and other contaminants away from the system but the strut bar kinda does that anyway, so no it does not harm the avs system

So i attempted to install the Cusco on Friday. After I bolted everything in the strut bar was a good 3 inches from the engine cover. Obviously the hood could not close. It was starting to get dark and temps were dropping so I pulled it off and put everything back where it was.

The only thing I see here that I could have done wrong was leave that little black washer/gasket under but that's only millimeters. I want to try and re-install later today hoping I can make it fit.

I know there was a bad batch of Cusco out there that doesn't fit our car but I thought it was cleared up and the parts were pulled off the market place. I bought the bar a few months ago and had it sit in the basement so no way im getting a refund.

That looks awesome! Unless I overlooked it... do you mind sharing the part number for the Tom's Strut Bar? I'd like to get one for my 18' IS350 RWD.

They replied me bro, they said "IT WILL FIT gen3 IS350 AWD F-sport" but like other said we will have to remove Dust Upper Cover from the AVS, i'm thinking should i wait for someone to make the one that we don't have to remove AVS dust cover, Engineer created AVS dust cover for Reason, i don't want to screw the AVS module.

I noticed something, those Strut bars are from 2nd Gen IS, they just did little mod to Fit 3rd Gen IS, this is simple Mod but really helps with BODY-ROLL if you drive like me save the brake pad, we need the Rear Sway bar too, its a great combo.

My goal is ...Strut Bar + Rear Swaybar + Performance hard LCA Bushing and if i want more..... 1 inch lowered + camber kit = Less money and Effective + more safety driving . But Strut bar + rear swaybar is awesome enough
