The hardest part is being careful to not break any of the small tabs that keep everything together. If I remember correctly, it comes apart in 2 or 3 phases before you can replace the top part. From start to finish, it shouldn't take you more than 30 min to do it.

I believe the TRD one is the whole assembly. What I and others bought was just a cap for the starter button.
Here's a thread on how to replace the button cap. I followed it, and had no problems. Just don't rush anything.
