2018 IS350 updates

It's really time for Lexus to come out with some new color interiors for the IS. The days are over where having a red interior was all the rage. Now it's so common everyone has it or they have black. I personally hate the pumpkin color and the tan reminds me something my dad would choose. Black will always be classic but it's also boring and as I mentioned roja red is too common now.
How about a midnight blue or black with some blue stitching. Why did they abandon stratus gray which looks awesome against a red or black exterior.

Well in the US, you can also get "Chateau" and black NuLuxe. It depends on your exterior paint as to which colors will be available.
Personally I am not the biggest fan of the gray interior - I think the black and red look way better. The black interior on the IS is good - I almost picked it but picked Rioja just for something a little more unique at the time. Pretty sure no other cars I actually have interacted with have red interiors.

Here is a prime example of Lexus not giving customer the choices in colors.
I keep an eye on new inventory at JM Lexus. It's basically been the same for the past year.
Right now they have 11 IS 350's in stock all 2018 models, of the 11, 2 are black interiors and 9 are Rioja Red. I mean why order (9) 350's all with Red interior? There are no Flaxen and no Chateau. They stock way too many Black and Rioja Red interiors. This is for the IS350, not interested in the other slower model. This is a missed opportunity for the customer who are then forced into pre-ordering. My bet is that most people are not buying the IS350 but the IS300 and that most people don't sit down and pre-order a IS350 and wait 5 months for it to come in so pre-orders are very minimal for the IS350.
